Ordering and Shipping

How long will my jewelry take to ship?

All jewelry is lovingly made to order. Most items will ship within 7 business days or sooner of when order is placed. If there may be a delay we will contact you immediately. Bridal orders take 3-4 weeks to ship.

How is my order shipped?

All jewelry is shipped USPS priority mail with tracking at no additional charge. Purchases over $200 are also insured.  If you have selected UPS 2nd day or overnight, please note that the jewelry still needs to be made. Once the jewelry is finished it will then ship 2nd day or overnight. Items shipped 2nd day or overnight are insured through a third party company but will arrive via UPS. The third party insurance company is very strict and there is NO WAY to waive signature once the item has shipped. Only after a third delivery attempt has been made may it be picked up at your local UPS facility. Therefore, someone must be available to sign for the package at the address given at point of delivery. No exceptions.   

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to many countries. Please contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.

Do you gift wrap?

Your item(s) will arrive individually packaged in custom Sarah Swell logo boxes ready for gift giving and will include a personal thank you note. If you would like the note to include a short personal message, please contact us after you order with your request.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

We do work with wholesale accounts. Please contact us for line sheets and terms.

JEWELRY CARE

How do I care for my jewelry?

We recommend gently washing your pieces with unscented, clear dish soap and a soft toothbrush as desired. This is all you should need to brighten up silver and make diamonds sparkle. We strongly advise against polishing cloths and dips as they deposit residue onto the metal. Never use any type of chemical on oxidized silver or a matte surface as it can change the unique finish.  Do not wear jewelry where chemicals are present, such as a pool or hot tub.

Repairs and ExcHanges

Can I return or exchange an item?

We want you to love your new treasure!  We accept returns within 14 days of the ship date on all regular collection items, excluding bridal and custom orders.

To return an item, you must send an email to info@sarahswell.com with RETURN in the subject line. Please briefly explain the situation in the body of the email.

You will be issued a return number. Items must be received back to us within the 14 day window, so please plan accordingly. Customer is responsible for safe return shipping. Sarah Swell jewelry is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

What if my jewelry needs repair?

We will repair  jewelry within 6 months of purchase as long as it is deemed normal wear and tear by our team. After 6 months, a charge will apply for repair. Please contact us with your inquiry and we will tell you how to proceed.

What if I need a ring sized?

We are happy to size rings for our customers for a $25 charge plus $6 return shipping within 90 days of purchase. Customer is responsible for safe shipping back to us for sizing. Please contact us if you need a ring sized for instructions on how to proceed.  Bridal rings include one free sizing within 60 days of purchase. If you are unsure of your ring size, email us to have a complimentary ring sizer sent to you.

Custom Work

What if I want to alter an existing piece?

If you are interested in customizing an existing item in a different metal, different size, a different chain length, shape or type of stone, or different size, please contact us for a quote.  Often there is little or no extra cost.
